顺子简介
顺子，美籍华人，出生在首都北京，她是一位漂流欧洲亚洲美洲三大洲的中国音乐家。1990年 于美国纽约HUNTER COLLEGE主修JAZZ音乐及 ETHNIC STUDIES。1991年 在瑞士自组乐团“DUTY FREE"开始发表音乐创作。1996年 与台湾魔岩唱片正式签约。1997年 11月在台湾发行「顺子SHUNZA」个人首张同名专辑。其代表作有《回家》、《I am not a star》等，尤其经典之作《回家》被人们广为传唱。

音乐历程
1976年 于北京学习古典钢琴。
1990年 于美国纽约HUNTER COLLEGE主修JAZZ音乐及 ETHNIC STUDIES。
1991年 在瑞士自组乐团“DUTY FREE"开始发表音乐创作。
1993年 担任『K 'RACTERS LP』的【K - TALK2】专辑合声演出，以FUNK与Acid-JAZZ音乐为主体。
1993年 顺子与『DUTY FREE』共同制作『Anti-drug』所发行的合辑【WAKE UP!】，其中收录顺子於『K 'RACTERS LP』专辑的作品。此专辑是做为协助吸毒者戒毒的义卖专辑。
1993年 顺子参加【SAFER SEX ROCK】大型LIVE CONCERT演出。此活动是以法语作为演出方式，主要是为艾滋病患募款的义卖活动。
1993年 担任『PACEMAKER』专辑的合声演出。
1993年 参与『U-MAN』专辑制作，负责作曲与合声的编制。其曲风为Zouk与Reggae为主。
1993年 於瑞士SWISS JAZZ SCHOOOL OF BERN与EJMA(School of Jazz and Contemporary Music)学习专业音乐，展开新的音乐里程碑。
1994年 参与制作『MEPHISTO』在意大利发表的【You Got Me Burnin'Up】专辑。并担任编曲、作曲以及演唱。是一张以Dance Music为主体的专辑。
1994年 参与『MEPHISTO』意大利发表的单曲『Keep On(Groovin')』Remix版的制作。其曲风仍以Dance Music为主。
1995年 应母校的聘请而任教於EJMA (School of Jazz and Contemporary Music)。
1995年 担任『DUTY FREE』首张专辑【Elimin'hate】作曲制作，其曲风为HIP - HOP / FUNK。
1995年 自组乐团『DUTY FREE』的首张专辑於欧陆正式发行。
1996年 与瑞士音乐家於加拿大魁北克以法文歌曲参与大型音乐剧演出。
1996年 担任「黎明柔·我赖你」专辑的合声编写与合音配唱。
1996年 与台湾魔岩唱片正式签约。
1997年 制作及主唱【台北之音】音乐台JINGLE。 为杜德伟粤语专辑担任合声。
1997年 参与魔岩唱片举办『诞生前夕』六场台湾校园巡回演唱会，初次於媒体曝光被台湾TVBS-G娱乐新闻评为『惊为天人』。
1997年 11月在台湾发行「顺子SHUNZA」个人首张同名专辑。
1998年 09月发行第二张个人创作专辑「I'm not a star 」。
1999年 参与 Monster Live 1998 Campus Tour 。
1999年 01 月发行"Monster Live " 1998 Campus Tour演唱会精选实录，收录杨乃文、张震岳、陈绮贞、顺子、李雨寰合莫文蔚最具有爆发性的现场演出。
1999年 03月发行英文专辑「Open Up」。
1999年 04月勇夺第十届金曲"最佳国语女歌手"及"最佳作曲"两项大奖。
2001年 03月魔岩发行「顺子自选辑>昨日。唯一。更多」。
2001年 05月顺子加盟EMI首张专辑「…and music's there」发行。
2002年 01月全新中文大碟「Dear Shunza」发行。
2003年 全新中文大碟我的好朋友「我的朋友Betty Su 」发行。
2003年 入围第十四届金曲奖"最佳专辑""最佳国语女演唱人" "最佳制作人" 。

2003年 荣获「中国流行歌曲榜」“年度十大金曲”和“年度DJ推荐最佳专辑”（Dear Shunza）。

个人经历
这是一位漂流欧洲亚洲美洲三大洲的中国音乐家
1973年出生于北京。她历经文化大革命的母亲， 在得到朋友相赠的两只鸡蛋后，在计程车中匆忙生下了顺子，八个月就等不急的她，第一次打开眼睛斜睁著一眼，看著她的钢琴家母亲。1979年，顺子6岁，母亲黄爱莲女士带著她和11岁的姊姊离开北京来到美国。顺子回忆说，当时她还小不懂事，但姊姊却在机场大哭, 因为知道从此就要离开那吹黑管的父亲。
旧金山的少年生活，为顺子日後的音乐创作带来极大的影响。不会说英文的她，最爱的是听电台学唱英文歌，即使不懂词意，但她却可以全部背下来，并且记下旋律。自4岁开使便被母亲严格要求学习古典钢琴的她，这个时候发现自己极爱唱歌。她听大量的黑人音乐，R&B、JAZZ、SOUL、HIP-HOP，这可能和她周围也喜爱音乐的的美国朋友无异，但她却必须独自面对东、西文化和种族差异的冲击。她将这些听音乐的经验，吸收并且融合成自己日后创作和演唱的灵感根基。14岁的时后她开始写了第一首歌，为了她还未开始就结束的小男朋友。
顺子17岁时，转往瑞士EJMA(School of Jazz and Contemporary)学院主修音乐制作，'92年自组「DUTY FREE」乐团，成为该团唯一东方团员，在美国、瑞士、法国、意大利、加拿大及奥地利等国，参加过上百场的LIVE CONCERT演出，此时顺子在演唱R&B、JAZZ、HIP-HOP、SOUL、FUNK及DANCE的功力已为演出各地的专业音乐人士和媒体深切注意。当然还是学生的她，偶尔为了生活，一个人坐很久很久的火车到意大利南边的DISCO，唱她自己很不喜欢的TECHNO，赚取微薄的酬劳。甚至在打工的餐厅里，央求老板让她演出，唱完了再继续端盘子。瑞士的求学阶段，顺子最后以极优异的成绩, 两年中将原本五年的学分修习完毕，并且应母校EJMA(School of Jazz and Contemporary)之邀，留任该校担任专业音乐教师。1994年坎城音乐大展, 顺子的母亲将一卷顺子的DEMO带交给也在参展的滚石唱片，於是开始了顺子与亚洲音乐市场的接触，1996年她只身来到台湾，继续实践她自七、八岁时便已决定一辈子做音乐的决心。顺子SHUNZA，一个24岁的女孩，却历经了北京、美国、欧洲和台湾的种族文化差异，漂泊了半个地球却找不到真正属于自己的家。她流浪的过程其实只为寻找一个能让她安心做音乐的角落；她对人生的不安和孤独，都在音乐中得到了解脱与释放。而她最迷人的部份则完全投射在当她面对音乐、演唱时的诚恳快乐和她执著于实现音乐梦想的自信神采。
