L.A. Boyz简介
1992年的夏天，黄立行和哥哥、表弟合组了一个三人团体：L.A.Boyz，从'92-'97，这个名字代表的，是受到乐迷疯狂喜爱、L.A.Boyz里最帅的“弟弟”。
发展历史
台湾演唱团体
L.A.BOYZ(洛城三兄弟)当年有多红？——我说不上来，也没感觉。但是有几点是可以肯定的：一，L.A.BOYZ是台湾最早唱华语R&B和HIP-HOP(那时还不流行HIP-HOP或嘻哈这种说法，大多以RAP或饶舌称之)的人；二，L.A.BOYZ在台湾要比在内地红很多；三，如今炙手可热的“R&B教父”陶喆就是靠制作L.A.BOYZ开始发家。——光凭这几点，我们便可以知晓L.A.BOYZ在华语流行歌坛的重要历史意义了。
其实当年的L.A.BOYZ只是一个偶像团体，团员黄立成、黄立行和林智文是表兄弟，他们在洛城长大，属于典型的ABC，玩起HIP-HOP来自然像模像样，被台湾的制作人在美国发掘，于1992年在台湾正式发片出道。
L.A.BOYZ在当年的台湾，不但带来了新的音乐，而且带来了美式的街头热舞和穿着，令人耳目一新之余也成为青少年急于模仿的对象。L.A.BOYZ出道时，最小的弟弟黄立行还刚刚只有18岁，兄弟几人穿梭于学业和工作间，忙得不亦乐乎。1997年，L.A.BOYZ正式解散，退出歌坛，在一段时间内也离开了台湾，直到2000年黄立行重回台湾歌坛出片。黄立成则于2003年成立“MACHI”，现在的身份是麻吉大哥。林智文也曾经参与麻吉的建设，也回台湾做了一些表演，发行了一张EP，但现在主要工作是一名医生在美国。
因此，这张《VERY MUCH全纪录唯一精选》是L.A.BOYZ在1992-1997年间的精选，双CD，共20首歌。很奇怪的是唱片封套上并没有注明是这张专辑是L.A.BOYZ1992-1997年间的作品，乍一看会令人有一种L.A.BOYZ又出来了的错觉。不过，如果你是因为这个才去买的专辑，你也丝毫没有吃亏，因为，L.A.BOYZ多年以前的水准，要大大好过如今在华语歌坛铺天盖地的HIP-HOP，而且，我都怀疑你当年有没有过L.A.BOYZ的CD，更何况他们也没出过精选。
那种制作上的热情和创作上的诚意是一听就听得出来的，不管是陶喆、王治平，还是武雄、包小柏、包小松、郑中庸、罗百吉、杨黎苏，都急于想将国外最流行的文化推介至华语歌坛，也热忱地想将自己的技术和创意放进这么一个新兴团体的音乐中，而不是现在趁着流行想捞一把的那种急功近利。
这里有当年非常流行的“O-LAY棒！！”，有世界杯主题曲的感觉，但元素显然丰富好多，编曲丰满而出挑，还有些世界音乐的感觉呢；陶喆到现在还念念不忘的早期作品“金斯顿的梦想”，纯正R&B，确实很好听，L.A.BOYZ唱起来嫩嫩的，很青涩的样子；罗百吉的“跳”，电子音效，有点象唢呐，擦刮声清晰可闻，做得富有创意，令人惊喜；包氏兄弟的“快餐男女”，很俏皮，还掺了点民族风味呢；“REAL MAN”，换个人唱，就不折不扣是陶喆的歌了……
