关于 FunkyMo 台北长大，台北生活。M要大写，念了清大台大中原大学都没有毕业，人生穷途末路之际牙一咬跟爸爸要了一笔钱去美国念 Berklee College of Music，主修电子音乐制作。小学五年级的时候为了想要耍帅生日礼物要了一把吉他，开始对国内外的流行音乐产生了更深入的兴趣，求学期间一有钱就是去买 CD，高中大学加入了热舞社之后，接触了美国流行的 Hip-Hop, Funk, R&B 以及更宽广的乐风，同时跟坐在后面的热音社同学交换摇滚乐的专辑，以为会一辈子跳舞，后来发现做音乐更不伤膝盖。 在 FunkyMo 的音乐中，能够跟着动摆动身体是最重要的事情，由外而内的从聆听经验进到人的身体，进而打动人的心灵。虽然主修的是电子音乐制作，对于声音设计与合成器有独到的见解，自己的灵魂好像从来没有离开 Funk/Soul/R&B 这种美国早期充满草根能量的曲风。 学成之后在纽约游荡两年之后带着在国外所受到的刺激做了一张电音专辑《Alb_2》回到台湾，获得 2019 年金音奖「最佳电音专辑奖」，开始为许多艺人担任制作人以及现场演出 Keyboard 手/Programmer 的角色。合作艺人涵盖了李权哲、熊仔、瘦子、萧闳仁、屁孩等等横跨不同领域。
