One snowy night

a little boy could not

fall asleep

He tried lying still

He tried changing positions

They filled his entire bed

they filled the entire room

jump out of the window

and into the yard

When the little boy woke

the next morning

he ran to the window

He saw a world full of

powdery fluffy white snow outside
