OOC成军于2008年初的北京，2010年出版首张EP《控制之外》；2011－2014年穿越40余个城市完成两次“控城记”全国巡演；2012年9月发行首张专辑《OOC》备受赞誉；2013年5月发行数字单曲《下四川》；2016年初由崔健推荐携单曲《活着》登陆东方卫视《中国之星》；2017年9月OOC在“狂喜文化”旗下推出全新EP《3》，这张EP由中国另类摇滚乐的传奇周韧先生担任制作人，缩混工程由来自加拿大多伦多的艺术摇滚金牌制作人，三次格莱美奖得主混音大师David Bottrill先生完成，母带处理则交付给国际唱片界母带制作标杆性人物纽约Sterling Sound的看家掌门人Ted Jensen。OOC乐队也特别将这张EP献给于三年前离世，中国摇滚乐历史上最重要的鼓手－张永光（鼓仨儿）先生。
OOC在音乐的创作编配过程中，将不同年代和风格的音乐元素充分揉合，表面上模糊了固有的类型划分却化学反应出一套OOC独有的音乐语言，既有基于摇滚乐黄金年代声响的传承衍生也有追寻自我实验前卫的颠覆狂想，这些低调而严谨，厚重且精致的混合在他们习惯制造巨大声压还原度极高的演出现场中，更能得到淋漓尽致的体现；而在作品的主题和精神层面，OOC幻想以一种平静的方式存在于控制之外，在对现实和人性冷静的思考中处处浸透着对自由最深沉的渴望和探求独立人格下真正的自我解放，不论从音乐还是精神的角度，OOC都相信“真实”是可以接近“自由”的唯一途径！
