The Threaded Tigers
Oil Oil for sale
Once upon a time
a young man went
from town to town selling oil
He lived all alone
in his small cottage
One day the young man met a dog
The dog followed
the man everywhere
Go home doggy
Don’t follow me
The young man
told the dog to go home
But the dog continued to follow
the young man
The young man decided to live
with the dog
So the young man took the dog
to his house
SNIFF SNIFF
The dog began to sniff
on the young man’s oil jars
Then all of a sudden
the dog jumped
in and out of the oil jars
Look at you
You’re covered with oil
One day
something horrible happened
A big tiger appeared in town
and attacked all the town animals
What should we do
Who will catch the big tiger
All the town’s people
were very worried
The young man
came forward and said
I’ll go and catch the big tiger
But how
How will you catch the tiger
The town’s people
could not believe the young man
The young man tied a rope
around his oily dog’s tail
Then he climbed a tree
and waited for the big tiger
Ooh
What’s this tasty smell
The tiger appeared
and saw the oily dog
Yummy
The tiger quickly swallowed the dog
SWOOSH SWASH SWOOSH
But the oily dog slipped
right through the tiger’s belly
And POP
The oily dog popped out of
the tiger’s behind
Along came another hungry tiger
Oooh This dog smells good
The tiger
quickly swallowed the dog
SWOOSH SWASH SWOOSH
But again
the oily dog slipped
right through the tiger’s belly
And POP
The oily dog popped out
of the tiger’s behind
Five more tigers came along
They all smelled the dog
and thought
Oooh
This dog smells delicious
But every time
they swallowed the dog
POP POP POP POP POP
The oily dog popped out of
the tiger’s behinds
Soon seven tigers
were threaded together
The young man
was so proud of himself
But the oily dog was in shock
Swooshing and swashing
in and out of tigers
made the dog dizzy
The young man dragged
all seven tigers into town
The oily dog followed along
Oh my The young man
caught seven tigers
Hooray for the young man
Hooray for the oily dog
The town’s people were so proud of
the young man and his oily dog
From then on
no more tigers appeared in town
And the young man
and his oily dog
lived happily ever after
