Spring Is Here Now

One day

inside a deep dark cave

a gentle wind blew

It wasn't a bone chilling

winter wind

Rather

it was a light spring breeze

Mr.bear was curled up

deep in the cave

He sniffed and snorted

his shiny black nose

That was

a good winter sleep

Hmm it smells like

spring is in the air

Wait a minute

There aren't any leaves

on the tree branches

Spring must be

a ways away then

Mr.Bear fell back asleep

so quickly

that he didn't even notice

a butterfly came to visit

All of the chipmunks were

already awake

The once frozen stream

was flowing again

and could be heard by all

And

the fishes were awake

and swimming too

I feel the warm breeze

Spring must be here

Soon enough

everything will be green again

Resting rabbits in a hole

woke from

their winter slumber

Then they hippity hopped

out into the open

one by one

Wow spring has come

It is so warm now

Baby Raccoon

rose from his sleep

and met beautiful ladybugs

Hey friends

How was your winter nap

Then he went to

Bunny and Chipmunk

and said his spring greetings

Hi Good to see you

I wonder

if Mr.Bear knows that

the spring is here

Just then

the spring butterfly

fluttered by and said

You know

I went to his cave

but he was still sleeping

He must think

it's still winter

Well if that's the case

let's go wake him up

Yay

That's a great idea

Well I'm going to

tickle his nose

with a fresh spring leaf

So Bunny hopped off

to find the freshest and

greenest spring leaf

I'm going to bring Mr.Bear

some fresh spring seeds

Baby chipmunk quickly

ran off to find some seeds

I'm going to find

all of my friends and

bring them along too

Surely

they're awake by now

And so the butterfly

went on her way

Oh Then I'm going to

bring the ladybugs

I just met

Pitter patter

Raindrops start to fall

on the new leaves

Bunny found a nice dry spot

under a rock

She waited there

with her soft leaves

while Baby Chipmunk stood

in the rain with his hayseed

blowing in the gentle wind

Ahchoo But I still like it

And so do the trees

They're going to

grow nice and tall now

After the rain stopped

a beautiful rainbow

appeared in the sky

Baby Raccoon set off

with the ladybugs

to visit Mr.Bear

Bunny Baby Chipmunk

and the butterfly were off too

But when they arrived

Mr.Bear was nowhere to be found

Huh That's strange

Where did he go

Did he find another place

to sleep

Oh

Hey guys

Did you all just wake up

Spring is already here

So the little friends joined

Mr.bear in his celebration

smelling and enjoying

the fresh scents of spring
